UN climate change conference in the United Arab Emirates
November 30 @ 8:00 am – December 12 @ 5:00 pm CET
The United Nations (UN) is organising its 28th Conference of the Parties – better known as COP – on climate change in 2023, to be held between 30 November and 12 December in the United Arab Emirates.
At the end of 2023, the Emirate of Dubai will become the global epicentre for dialogue on climate change and the commitments made by the different States and social agents to mitigate it. COP28 in the United Arab Emirates will be a milestone where a first global stocktaking of global progress following the adoption of the Paris Agreement at COP21 will take place. This will help to align efforts for climate action, including measures that need to be put in place to bridge the gaps in progress.
