Women currently invest less in Blockchain infrastructure and cryptocurrencies than males. Only 1 % of all crypto assets are held by women. If we look into concepts like DEFI where you can follow passive income strategies like farming we even see less women. Jacky Lam wrote for Forbes in 2019: “Crypto currency and blockchain are becoming one of the world’s largest disruptive technologies.” As expected, the sector has seen tremendous start-up growth and investor interest. However, as we continue to see success in fundraising and application growth in blockchain technology we do not see too many women representing this sector. So…the question remains where is the female representation in the Blockchain sector?
