Lessons Learned from Collision and Consensus

• There are strong signs – both from Consensus and Collision – that exchange of tokenised equity, derivatives and collective investment products will explode over the next few years.
• There are still not enough women in MINT professions
• So SFTL is teaming up for the first Women in Sustainable Innovation Conference in Zurich

We look back to an eventful and rewarding first SwissFinTechLadies Year.  More important than the past however is what is ahead in the future.

Our Recent Activities:
Karen joined the Swiss delegation for Collision,  the fastest growing technology conference in North America and the sister event of Web Summit. Now in its fifth year, Collision attracts more than 25,000 attendees from over 120 countries, making it one of the largest gatherings of entrepreneurs on the continent. Diversity was a huge topic, and so was the integration of sustainability into technological advancement.  If you want to join the Swiss delegation for Collision 2020 please let us know by putting forward oyur credentials to karen@swissfintechladies.ch.

We supported the F10 World Café event in Zurich and SFTL was responsible for the Diversity workshop. Most companies have female role models encouraging women, but the representation of females in FinTech and all MINT professions is still a gap. Therefore it remains important to make role models visible.

The winners have been chosen – we congratulate the winners of the Finance-IT Innovation Award 2019 in the categories Ecosystems and Innovative Technologies! 
SFTL supported the BEI’s Innovation and Ecosystems Forum in St. Gallen by joining the jury  
In the category “Ecosystems”, the jury awarded the Finstar Open Banking ecosystem of Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG together with NDGIT GmbH – NEXT DIGITAL BANKING, SONECT and neon as well as Imburse and the FusionFabric.cloud from Finastra. In the category “Innovative Technologies” Sentifi, Selma Finance and wevest AG were awarded for their solutions. Interested to learn more? What is ahead:

We are expanding to Swiss Romande. Our first SFTL lunch in Geneva will take place on July 8, 2019. More details will follow on our website. 
On July 9, 2019 we will join F 10 for Women and Entrepreneurship – let us fix the leaky pipeline 
On October 22^nd   we will hold our Women in Sustainable Fintech and Innovation event in Zurich. Please save the date. More details will follow on our website.
