SwissFinTechLadies are invited by Ladies Drive TV to shed light on the importance of emotional intelligence for leadership, digital transformation, team spirit and mixed teams.
The WEF announced in a survey two years ago (and thus even before this pandemic) that trust is the most important thing a leader really needs.
Without trust, there is no followership.
Today – 2022 – this is truer than ever and more necessary than ever. That’s why leadership with EQ – emotional intelligence – is more important than ever.
Emotional intelligence appeals to trust in us – not to our know how, analytic skills or mind knowledge. It appeals to our transformation knowledge and our authenticity and this is what is needed now. social identity there has shown us that leaders need to be endorsed by their followers and lead by example.
Leading and taking responsibility for one’s actions, meanwhile, is much more than a purely cognitive process. Perhaps this is precisely the opportunity that lies in this pandemic: that we learn (again) to draw on our emotional intelligence, to use it and to be the new leaders that are urgently needed today. Leaders with heart and mind.
