We are humbled and grateful to be able announce today that SmartMoneyMatch and SwissFinTechLadies will award Startups from the local Swiss market that provide exceptional business models and future fitness sustainability at our Art and Startup Night on Saturday November 25 at 6 pm at Trustsquare Paradeplatz. There are some fintech awards around in Switzerland so why another award?
Why another award?
Women are still underrepresented in entrepreneurship and fintech as investors, co-creators and entrepreneurs.Therefore when you think about fintech, we all have male role models in our mindset in place. But there are lovely successful and very well educated and trained women that have entered the stage in fintech, blockchain and web 3.
Female fintech entrepreneurs are still rare. The more important is our mission to make the ones that thrive in the field visible and rewrite the history of Fintech, Blockchain and Web 3. The companies presented went through our #VC4Diversity #pitching, have been found eligible by our #VC investment committee and have been scrutinized by our jury. With this award, we want to make female role models in startups visible who dare to contribute materially to the field of innovation and fintech with a profitable business model that can contribute to solving the societal challenges of our times.We are joyful and grateful for making this happen. Martin Signer from SmartMoneyMatch has been one of the ideators of this award.It is just great to see there are investors that support the idea of diversity and help to bring #diversity and female #cocreation into being. Together with our art exhibition, key note and art auction look forward to a very inspiring evening.
